In cooperation with the Union of Interpreters and Translators in the Czech Republic (JTP),
I am happy to announce this new edition of my Remote Interpreting Platforms Training which will take place
in the beautiful city of Prague.

In this time of disruption to traditional conferences, remote interpreting is coming to the forefront as a viable alternative. This practical training aims to:

introduce different models of remote interpreting and offer participants the opportunity to test drive them
raise awareness of guidelines of professional associations
discuss factors to take into consideration before offering this service

10:00 - 10:30 Introduction to remote interpreting

10:30 - 12:00 Demo of 1st provider

12:00 - 13:30 Lunch break

13:30 - 15:00 Demo of 2nd provider

15:00 - 16:30 Demo of 3rd provider

16:30 - 17:30 Professional associations' guidelines and pricing your service

17:30 - 18:00 Wrap up and evaluation

JTP byla založena v roce 1990, aby hájila profesní, pracovně právní a sociální zájmy svých řádných členů, napomáhala jim k dalšímu vzdělávání, propagovala je na trhu práce a informovala je o pracovních příležitostech. JTP dbá na povznesení společenské prestiže profese i kvality překladu a tlumočení. JTP je členem Mezinárodní federace překladatelů FIT.
